The awarding of appointments to 917 new teachers for the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Teachers’ Service was held at the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Auditorium.

Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Cricket Team won the All Island Public Service Cricket Tournament organized by the Rakwana Post Office on 04.02.2020.More than 20 teams participated in this tournament which was held at the Rakwana Ratnaloka College grounds. Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Cricket Team emerged victorious in the finals with the runners up of the Rakwana Post Office team which organized the tournament.
